Lenny Scheuermann , Executive Director and Head Teaching Professional, is a world-class teaching professional who has coached several world-ranked players including Elise Burgin and JoAnn Russell, former Wimbledon doubles champion. Lenny has been a registered professional since 1973 with the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA). He is the President and Founder of The Tennis Institute, Inc. as well as CEO of Motivation America, Inc.

Thiha Htwar Director of Operations/Organization. Senior Pro and USPTA member, has been with the Tennis Institute as a teaching professional and program director since 1986. Formerly from Rangoon, Burma, Thiha is a graduate of Towson State University. He played for UMBC and Towson, ranking as high as #2 in Singles and #1 in Doubles. Thiha was ranked in the top 10 Junior players and top 10 Men in Maryland.

Keith Puryear Advanced Player Program Director, registered United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) professional has been with The Tennis Institute since 1990. Keith is the mens' and womens' tennis coach at University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He has been a ranked player in Maryland and Mid Atlantic Tennis Association for fourteen years. He was voted Northeast Conference "Coach of the Year" 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002.

Laura Turnbull A registered United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) professional and NSPA Certified Physical Trainer. Laura has been a teaching pro since 1996 specializing in fitness tennis and cardio tennis. She can set up a holistic regimen combining the fun of of the game with improved wellness. Laura works mostly with beginning adults.

Matt Lennox A registered United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) professional and teaching pro since 1997. Matt enjoys working with players striving to improve their tournament play, but he also is very good with intermediates and beginners. Matt is still active in USTA competition having ranked #1 in USTA Mid Atlantic 30's Singles and Open Doubles.
